So seriously, so many have been contending for their promises for the longest time! So often, they have become encouraged, only to be let down again and again. Often experiencing betrayal, rejection and defeat. Some have felt so disappointed, discouraged and lost,as they faced constant wave after wave of seemingly insurmountable circumstances of loss and despair. Even when things were supposed to get better, they did not.    Becoming so discouraged they entered into an almost 'robot like' mode, just to keep going! Faced with incredible uncertainty and nowhere to turn, some have had to revisit the very foundations of what they believe.    For some time now, I've found myself looking at a place of emptiness and darkness. Trust Him!


It is essential that we understand there must be no taking back of the burden we give to God. It is like taking a plant out of the ground every week or every day to see how much it has grown. When we are not satisfied with the results we try to help it along with more water, plant food or moving it to another spot. 

This can be equated to doing things in our own strength. Once we have given God our request in prayer, we are supposed to wait on him by listening, watching and reading the word. If there is something specific HE wants us to do, HE will direct us to do it and we will not miss HIS direction if we are expecting, waiting, watching, listening and reading the word! That is FAITH! 

HE may not require us to do anything but wait! Afterall, HE planted the trees and watered them from the beginning, HE moves the waves, causes the sun to shine and the wind to blow! I don't see HIM calling us to do these for HIM! IT is HE who set everything in motion and HE will set everything in motion in every circumstance if we call on HIM and TRUST HIM, while continuing to wait, listen, pray and read the word. Expect and you will SEE opportunity come to you!
