Word: Unlocking of Ancient Wells....

While watching Holy Spirit early the other morning I heard a loud noise in the spirit. It sounded like ''Twack, Twack,.....'' repeated several times. As my mind questioned what it was, I heard, ''... unlocking of Ancient Wells...'' It sounded almost as if something had been unplugged.

As I looked I saw the waters swirling around powerfully and noticed that some parts were brown and dirty. I knew these had to be cleaned.

CLEANING

The DEPTH of a well is affected by the amount of 'dirt' in it. Before we can Dig Deeper we will have to remove the 'dirt'.

It's time to lay down all that we know if we want to be part of what Father has been doing in the earth for some time already...Sometimes we know too much about someone, without really knowing the 'Person'. HE has been calling EVERY individual to a place of far greater intimacy for a while now. Knowing this, places added responsibility on leaders to direct and not enable! Father wants ALL to hear and see! HE wants to be intimate with each of us!

Wells can represent places of learning and instruction. Sometimes we become so puffed up we start thinking we are the only group of people or organization that are right, and God's presence is only with us. If HE comes today, it will be to us! Cults think that way too! We are with HIM 24/7. There is no separation! We are ONE and Sons know this.

We must become like the order of Melchizadek. In Christ, no one place or person has to lose for another to gain. Even if someone has done us wrong, we BLESS them. God has enough for ALL. We ALL gain. We stand together COVERING each other, this helps prevent our wells from becoming further contaminated.

TIME to check our beliefs and traditions. Goals and objectives. Holy Spirit is with us to guide, but will we listen?

What are our desires? What are our ideas of success? Do they align with the Father? What if HIS ideas are completely different?

Every Son of God has a Book or Scroll of Destiny they can access. Only the Father knows what these contain and many have been surprised what was revealed and that NO-ONE else ever knew or saw, and there's more....If you have not accessed or seen, you may be CAMPING in your destiny. DISCOVER.....

Obviously, we are in a NEW ERA. It is the Season of Kings where we bring Heaven to Earth and are taught of the Lord. It's time mature Sons Rule over Creation, not just your town or city! There is a much bigger picture. Jesus is the way, HE is the door, enter in.... Holy Spirit is your guide...You are going to have to dig deeper if you want to keep drawing clear water from your well!

In Genesis 21 and 26 we see that Abraham and Abimelech; Isaac and the Philistines were contending for wells which signify the WORD, Doctrine and TRUTH. Time to contend for these and come out at the end with only TRUTH!

IDENTIFYING WELLS

Wells can also represent prosperity and abundance. In Genesis 21:15-19 we see Hagar ENCOUNTERING an angel and having her eyes opened to see the well. When abandoned, she called out to the Lord and wept, God heard. The Angel of the Lord called to her from Heaven! Hagar's circumstances caused her to dig deeper. Without being aware Heaven was so close (at hand), she discovered destiny. The well saved her life because her eyes were opened to see. The well had been there all along, but Hagar could not see it. God wants to open our eyes to the wells of opportunity around us. I prophesy that no wells of blessing and goodness in your circumstances will go unnoticed or undiscovered. It is important that you locate your well of blessing to draw from.

Genesis 21:15-19 New International Version (NIV)

15 When the water in the skin was gone, she put the boy under one of the bushes. 16 Then she went off and sat down about a bowshot away, for she thought, “I cannot watch the boy die.” And as she sat there, she[a] began to sob.

17 God heard the boy crying, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven and said to her, “What is the matter, Hagar? Do not be afraid; God has heard the boy crying as he lies there. 18 Lift the boy up and take him by the hand, for I will make him into a great nation.”

19 Then God opened her eyes and she saw a well of water. So she went and filled the skin with water and gave the boy a drink.

Wells are a SOURCE from which we draw all kinds of provision. They give life. We see in Genesis 21:25 that Abraham understood the importance of wells. Abimelech's servants had taken away the well Abraham's camp had labored for. Many want to reap where they have not sown or labored. Trust the Father for what is yours and don't be afraid to speak up. I prophesy that every well in your life that has been taken illegally, be returned back under your control.

Isaac's wells that had been dug by Abraham were blocked up by the Philistines who envied him. Twice they fought over his wells and only on the third occasion did God make room for him. Isaac understood that drawing from the right well meant prosperity. Today, we need to ask the Father to direct us to the wells in our life that the enemy has blocked up and show us how to excavate these. God has unlocked wells for life to spring forth and flow from these again. Declare This!

ENCOUNTERS

Wells are places of Great Encounter. The woman of Samaria met Jesus at Jacob's Well and her life was radically changed. Her destiny, she never knew she had, was revealed to her! She received Living Waters at the same well inherited by Joseph. Jacob's well is significant of a place of truth and so it was where the Lord came to rest.

Rebekah encountered Abraham's servant at a well, not realising that she was encountering destiny! Abraham's servant went directly to the well to wait because he understood that wells were lifegiving places.

We see that wells are incredibly significant in our lives and blessings appear when we find the well that is right for us. We also see in Genesis 24 that Isaac passed by a well before he met Rebekah.

I Declare Increasing Divine Encounters and connections in Jesus Name!

PEOPLE AS WELLS

There are wells and there are wells. David recognised that people are wells and said he longed to drink water from a particular well-the well of Bethlehem. He had previously drunk water from this well and was able to distinguish its life giving qualities from other wells.

I'm sure we can all identify someone who has been a well of life to us. A place where we keep going back for more because the flavour is different! Some people are wells that run deep and from them flow Living Waters that always lift and restore us. Receiving from them is like coming home, simply because of what they carry.

When we discover and identify Lifegiving places, we should often go there and draw from these wells.

You are also a well to some. What kind of well are you? If you are drawing from the right places to fill yourself, Living waters will flow from you to others. This can mean life to someone who needs to be lifted to a better place. healing for another and encouragement to many. Make sure your well is clean and pure.

I Declare that you will clearly distinguish the quality wells from the mediocre and will not be distracted.

It was also at a well that Jacob located his wife. The bible says that the well was covered with a great stone. Rachel brought her Father's sheep to the well and could not move the stone. The Lord used Jacob to help her roll the stone away. We see clearly that Jacob helped Rachel with a problem and gained a wife!

Genesis 29:9-14 New International Version (NIV)

9 While he was still talking with them, Rachel came with her father’s sheep, for she was a shepherd. 10 When Jacob saw Rachel daughter of his uncle Laban, and Laban’s sheep, he went over and rolled the stone away from the mouth of the well and watered his uncle’s sheep. 11 Then Jacob kissed Rachel and began to weep aloud. 12 He had told Rachel that he was a relative of her father and a son of Rebekah. So she ran and told her father.

13 As soon as Laban heard the news about Jacob, his sister’s son, he hurried to meet him. He embraced him and kissed him and brought him to his home, and there Jacob told him all these things. 14 Then Laban said to him, “You are my own flesh and blood.”

If you read the preceding verses you will realise that there were others at the well that wanted to, but could not fetch water from the well, because of the stone. I prophesy that every stone that blocks your well of blessing today, be rolled away in the name of Jesus.

When Isaac blessed his children he described Joseph, the inheritor of his blessings, as a fruitful vine.

Genesis 49:22 New International Version (NIV)

22 “Joseph is a fruitful vine,

a fruitful vine near a spring,

whose branches climb over a wall.[a] bough by a well.

“Branches climbing over the wall” signify wealth that will be a blessing to others. Joseph lifetime wealth acquisition was a blessing to many. Even though Joseph had been thrown into a pit, a well without water, the Lord moved him out of the pit to a good well in Genesis 49:22.

I prophesy that the Lord will move you from any evil or empty well, to the well of goodness, blessing and fullness set aside for you, in the name of Jesus. Let your life become a well of living waters. Let them be purified. Let wells of wealth and prosperity be located and let you draw from them in the name of Jesus. Remove and cut off all those who are wells of bad advice, misfortune or discouragement in your life in the name of Jesus.

Isaiah 35

Joy of the Redeemed

35 The desert and the parched land will be glad;

the wilderness will rejoice and blossom.

Like the crocus, 2 it will burst into bloom;

it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy.

The glory of Lebanon will be given to it,

the splendor of Carmel and Sharon;

they will see the glory of the Lord,

the splendor of our God.

steady the knees that give way;

say to those with fearful hearts,

“Be strong, do not fear;

your God will come,

he will come with vengeance;

with divine retribution

he will come to save you.”

Water will gush forth in the wilderness

it will be for those who walk on that Way.

Moses is another example of someone who's life changed significantly at a well. Moses also knew that wells are a source of life. A Lifegiving source will always attract good things. It was at a well that Moses met the Priest of Midian. The right well brought his wife, shelter and income source all at the same time.

Exodus 2:15-17 New International Version (NIV)

15 When Pharaoh heard of this, he tried to kill Moses, but Moses fled from Pharaoh and went to live in Midian, where he sat down by a well. 16 Now a priest of Midian had seven daughters, and they came to draw water and fill the troughs to water their father’s flock. 17 Some shepherds came along and drove them away, but Moses got up and came to their rescue and watered their flock.

A bad well has no water and is called a pit. In 2 Peter 2:17 Peter refers to those who have gone astray as "wells without water.” Psalm 55:23 refers to "pits of destruction" while proverbs 23:27 mentions "narrow pit." In Proverbs 28:10 the bible refers to the “own pit" while Zechariah 9:11 speaks about "pits for prisoners." Pits are also significant of doctrines without truth.

2 Kings 3:19 New International Version (NIV)

19 You will overthrow every fortified city and every major town. You will cut down every good tree, stop up all the springs, and ruin every good field with stones.”

Blocking the wells from which your enemy draws to attack you is important. This is one of the reasons why God told the children of Israel to fill up the wells of the Moabites with sand. This action would stop the source of their wealth and strength. I decree that every evil well your enemy draws from to attack you, be blocked by the angels of God in the name of Jesus.

John 4:6-15 New International Version (NIV)

6 Jacob’s well was there, and Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well. It was about noon.

7 When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, “Will you give me a drink?” 8 (His disciples had gone into the town to buy food.)

9 The Samaritan woman said to him, “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?” (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.[a])

10 Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.”

11 “Sir,” the woman said, “you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water? 12 Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and his livestock?”

13 Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

15 The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water so that I won’t get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water.”

John 7:38-39 New International Version (NIV)

38 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”[a] 39 By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.

The promise to make us wells of living water is repeated. May your well within be filled with blessing, love and goodness in the name of Jesus.

And so we could add many more scriptures that speak of the waters and fountains HE will bring us into. Not only is this unlocking of wells significant of prosperity in many areas but it is also leading us into a time of uncovering TRUTH we have not seen before.

As I sat with the Lord, considered, prayed and released this word, I experienced an overwhelming sense of Father wanting to restore; and being taken across the timeline, to view each of these encounters at the well. I was not alone. I pray that like Hagar, your eyes be opened to see that which was hidden, like Rachel you unknowingly experience destiny encounters through your acts of kindness, like Moses the tables completely turn for you when you think it may be all over, like the Samaritan woman your life unexpectedly takes a new direction when you keep drawing from a good place. Like Jacob you encounter lifetime blessings when you help with a problem, like Isaac you increase abundantly as you continue to press towards the goal, that incredible individuals surround and share living water with you, that like David you will be able to clearly distinguish quality and that you encounter our Father in a new and Profound way. What has the Father placed deep within your well that HE wants to draw out of you?

I Declare the Unlocking of wells that run straight in Jesus name!

So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.
