Please note: Division referred to here is as in the subject
of mathematics and not in the negative.
Father is again speaking to me about us being in a Season of
Multiplication!
Multiplication and Division go hand in hand. They must always work
together if anything is to be sustained. Scripture clearly shows the
pattern of multiplication.
Just as the boy brought the fish and loaves which were
blessed, broken and MULTIPLIED (increased, reproduced), then DIVIDED
among the multitude. We must also take notice that the end result of
this was several full baskets! Could this possibly be the solution to
hunger, poverty and thirst, especially with a multitude of people
together? This story is so symbolic in meaning, I'm sure we could all
identify with it. Such a simple and basic meal was presented to
Jesus and look at the outcome. So much with so little!
This is the only miracle mentioned in all four gospels, yet there is
no record of anyone being surprised by it...
An individual only grows or increases in physical size up to a
certain point. After this, we see continued growth in different areas
such as skills, knowledge or wisdom. These areas of increase clearly
represent DIVISION again as one reaches a certain level of physical
and psychological maturity.
In order for this Multiplication to remain sustainable, it too must be
divided by teaching knowledge, giving training skills and sharing
wisdom with others.
Plants grow, produce fruit (multiply) and then DIVIDE by dropping
their seed.
Amoeba must divide itself and multiply to reproduce!
When families grow (multiply) they also move out (divide) and
begin their own multiplication.
The widow only had a single
portion of flour and oil left for a meal. Instead of keeping some for
herself, she gave the full portion to the prophet, while she went
without. She did not settle for instant gratification but chose to
exercise her FAITH and believe the prophet's words, and endure her
hunger a little longer. After this, her oil bottle remained full even
after pouring. She was able to start her own business selling oil
because by dividing she had unlocked an unlimited source.
Multiplication took place! Where there is Division there is
multiplication and where there is multiplication there is division!
As she Divided the oil out to others, multiplication took place in
other areas of her life. finances increased, she may have bought a
donkey for transport and built a home. As the business grew she
employed others and expanded (multiplied)by opening other branches
(division).
A raging river will divide as it overflows off into tributaries, some
streams becoming rivers themselves, flowing off in a different
directions.
The Genesis command to go forth and multiply was not optional,
neither was it only about reproducing our kind. This was to be
applied to every area of life. When we plant seeds, they grow and
the ground produces flowers or fruit for us! Again, multiplication of
that one tiny seed, which we then divide amongst ourselves for food,
to sell or plant. So multiplication or reproduction continues on its
natural path.
If we understand and apply this to all areas of our lives it
correctly aligns and begins operating like clockwork! The one part
constantly nudging the other to do their task to maintain the
momentum. Multiply, divide, multiply, divide, multiply, divide,
multiply...
Tick, tock, tick, tock... don't let the clock stop!
To not pay attention and apply the law of Multiplication and
Division to your life is doing yourself in! It's important to note
that FAITH is the key that unlocks source.
Also, this is about an OUTCOME and not an income.
Colossians 2...
8See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and
empty deception, which are based on human tradition and the spiritual
forces of the world rather than on Christ. 9For in Christ all
the fullness of the Deity dwells in bodily form. 10And you have been
made complete in Christ, who is the head over every ruler and
authority.…
Berean Study Bible
Seriously, what does this say about our identity....
And Jesus Himself is the seed of such extraordinary MULTIPLICATION
that is never-ending.
Acts 17:28 NIV
'For in him we live and
move and have our being.' As some of your own poets have said, 'We
are his offspring.'
I am not a mathematician so I do not know if there is such a law.
however, it seems that way to me.
All things are moved by the
Spirit of God, so let HIM reveal the power of Multiplication in your
life. I pray for wisdom and understanding for each person you impart
to Lord.
Zechariah
4:6 NIV
So he said to me, “This
is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power,
but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.
Shalom
