So seriously, so many have been contending for their promises for the longest time! So often, they have become encouraged, only to be let down again and again. Often experiencing betrayal, rejection and defeat. Some have felt so disappointed, discouraged and lost,as they faced constant wave after wave of seemingly insurmountable circumstances of loss and despair. Even when things were supposed to get better, they did not.    Becoming so discouraged they entered into an almost 'robot like' mode, just to keep going! Faced with incredible uncertainty and nowhere to turn, some have had to revisit the very foundations of what they believe.    For some time now, I've found myself looking at a place of emptiness and darkness. Prophetic Word: Reaping From A Position Of Rest



Today the Lord wants to encourage us by pointing out that even though our circumstances do not reveal it, we have entered into a season of REST and HARVEST.

Don't entertain confusion and discouragement because you do not see breakthrough, just keep on speaking the Blessing of God over your life and circumstances and you will start seeing small events, which almost seem like co-incidences, begin to occur. These occurrences will gradually increase. I see it like bread dough that you knead and leave to rise. The kneading part can sometimes be quite strenuous but once done, the dough rises beyond proportion, when left for a time.

I saw swimmers taking part in a race in an Olympic sized pool. These are immersed in water which clearly represents those who have immersed themselves in the word. These individuals are fast coming to the finish line of this part of their race and they all win!

I understand that even though we may not feel or see the change yet, the Lord wants to encourage us to have faith and believe that we have moved into this season of Rest and Harvest, as we watch for the little changes that we will see manifest. We are to KNOW that a change has taken place and that there has been a shift.m

Even if you have no finances, no car, no home, no job, it does not mean you are not in the Blessing of God! You must remember that Joseph was in prison and he prospered because the Lord was with him. Despite his circumstances Joseph knew he was in the Blessing of God and he went along with it, as it showed up everywhere he went!

Joseph chose to activate his faith and watch that BLESSING go to work on his behalf. 
The Blessing will gradually increase and take form, starting off like a little rattle in the throat of a lion, and quickly build to a loud and rumbling roar that can be heard up to 8km away! 

A lion will roar with Confidence and remain in a relaxed position without standing up, because he knows who he is. From this position he 'stands his ground' while notifying all in range who dare challenge him, that he remains alert and ready!

And so should the SONS of GOD be CONFIDENT in their authority and right to experience all that has been promised.

Remember the Blessing of GOD delivers you, heals, provides for you, moves you, changes you, opens doors for you, favours you, protects you, annoints you, shows up for you and PROSPERS all you do!

In order to be BLESSED you must realize it first. KNOW that you are BLESSED and REST in the BLESSING and RECEIVE!

I see the Breath of GOD blowing into lives, situations,circumstances. All the debris is being cleared out by this blowing. In some the blowing is quick, in others it continues and in some it blows a little and stops, only to start up again and blow at intervals. So if your harvest seems just a little at first, dribs and drabs, stops and starts or a windfall, just give HIM praise and glory as HE continues to work it out for your good! Because you KNOW that HE is a GOOD God and that HE loves you! Remember it is from a position of REST that you will REAP your HARVEST in this season!


Genesis 26The Message (MSG)

26 There was a famine in the land, as bad as the famine during the time of Abraham. And Isaac went down to Abimelech, king of the Philistines, in Gerar.

2-5 God appeared to him and said, “Don’t go down to Egypt; stay where I tell you. Stay here in this land and I’ll be with you and bless you. I’m giving you and your children all these lands, fulfilling the oath that I swore to your father Abraham. I’ll make your descendants as many as the stars in the sky and give them all these lands. All the nations of the Earth will get a blessing for themselves through your descendants. And why? Because Abraham obeyed my summons and kept my charge—my commands, my guidelines, my teachings.”


Genesis 26:12-15(Message)

Isaac planted crops in that land and took in a huge harvest. God blessed him. The man got richer and richer by the day until he was very wealthy. He accumulated flocks and herds and many, many servants, so much so that the 

Philistines began to envy him.
