The Lord has
been talking to me about 'Positioning' for several weeks now. HE
recently pointed out that it was essential to be in the right place,
such as the pool at Bethesda, when the Angel appears to stir the waters!
This
does not only speak of a physical place, but much more of your
spiritual 'Position' in Christ and how important it is to discern that
you are where you should be. This does not mean that the correct
'Position' is one with ideal or perfect conditions, but rather that it
is the Perfect will of God for you right now!
I saw the Lord
working inside a greenhouse. The greenhouse contained many plant boxes
with beautiful growing plants. Right at the back was a plant box filled
with the richest soil and a tiny plant that had barely budded, located
in the centre, with only the top of its head peeping out of the soil.
Although it was surrounded by so much nourishment, this plant had hardly
grown!
Not all plants need the same amount of sunlight or water.
Neither do they all flourish in the same environment. A plant must be
correctly 'Positioned' to flourish.
Trees Planted and Rooted
In
Psalm1:3 we are likened to trees. Have you ever seen trees moving from
one place to another? No, they never move of their own free will! A tree
is planted by a gardener and also only moved to other locations by a
gardener.
In order to become that tree in Psalm 1:3, it is
essential that you are positioned at the right place, with the right
people and at the right time! This is why we should never stop praying
for discernment, so that we are led by God into the correct church,
work, career, city, country etc. This is especially true of those who
are called to ministry. I'm sure many have experienced how horribly
wrong things can go if we take a wrong turn! Be sure to wait for
direction.
Psalm 1:1-3 (NIV)
1Blessed is the one
who does
not walk in step wit the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or
sit in the company of mockers,2but whose delight is in the law of the
Lord,and who meditates on his law day and night.3That person is like a
tree planted by streams of water,which yields its fruit in season and
whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers.
As Sons of
the Living God we should not make decisions lightly, as the world does,
but we should bring all our dealings before the Father and allow HIM to
guide our paths. It is good to make plans but we must submit these to
HIM and allow HIM to bring the changes. This honours the Father and
protects us. We should also be sure to wait until we receive HIS answer.
The Father always has a way of confirming HIS plans to us.
Proverbs 16:3
Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.
Specific Greenhouse Conditions
The
Greenhouse idea of growing under a specific set of controlled
conditions for maximum production, has existed since Roman times and
throughout history in many different forms. There are records of
vegetables grown under greenhouse conditions to enormous sizes, unlike
anything most of us have ever seen or experienced. Emperor Tiberius ate
cucumbers daily which were grown under special conditions to make them
available each day.
Acceleration
God is so intently
focused on each of us that HE has arranged for us to be placed within
very specific 'Greenhouse' conditions for optimal growth and maturation.
Sometimes these conditions may not be as comfortable as we would like
them to be, and we may not understand why we have to be there or go
through such things, but we need to be able to discern when we are in a
specific season and rather go through it than struggle, try to move out
or run. This will only mean we'll find ourselves back on the same
mountain again, never crossing over into all the promises HE has for us!
Joseph never left the prison even though he was in charge. He discerned
that he was in God's will. If he had moved out of his circumstances,
which never made sense to the natural mind, he would have lost the
promise of God. He may have aborted his destiny!
Restrictions Removed
Greenhouse
conditions remove all restrictions to growth. Conditions can be
manipulated that allow for growth of continuous Acceleration. Sometimes
these seasons are termed 'Acceleration' or 'Kairos,' where time
restrictions are no longer a factor. Greenhouses are used to overcome
all shortcomings to maximum growth. The 'greenhouse position' is one
that produces and exposes maximum potential.
Monitored
You have to understand that you are always 'monitored' while in this position since HE will never leave us or forsake us!
Psalm 1:6
For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber;

indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

Any temptation you face will be nothing new. But God is faithful, and
He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can handle. But He always
provides a way of escape so that you will be able to endure and keep
moving forward.
No matter who you are, where you've been or what
you've done, HE will use you because ALL HIS children have so much to
give and HE is no respector of persons. However, HE does draw close to
those who seek HIM.

No Pot Plants
It is important
to note that I never saw any pot plants in the greenhouse, only window
boxes. I do believe that this is significant of those who are willing to
be moved out and around. Pot plants usually stand in one position and
window boxes are positioned outside.
Faith Position
Positioning
is about Faith! Your heart needs to be stirred up expectantly. You must
remember that Hebrews 11 states throughout, that it was by faith, by
faith....that all received. One sees clearly what happens when you are
correctly 'Positioned' in John 5:7-8

Positioning is about being in the right heart position and at peace with all men as far as possible.
Positioning
is not about using 'in the name of Jesus' as a magic formula but about
taking up your position of authority in Jesus Christ!
Positioned For Outpouring
A
warmer temperature occurs in the greenhouse, due to solar radiation
passing through the glass, which is then absorbed by the floor, earth
and contents. The temperature rises since the warmed air cannot escape.
Even
though it may not seem like it, you'll experience a huge heavenly
outpouring and impartation taking place during your 'positioning' in
much the same way. This will increase you in spiritual things, moving
you into greater levels of authority, understanding and discernment. (by
faith...)
Then I saw clearly that the beautiful plant boxes
which were correctly 'Positioned' in the controlled greenhouse
environment, had produced Gigantic fruit! Many types of fruit and
vegetables that were larger in size than any man! Larger than any of us
have ever experienced or seen before! There is enormous potential for
increase in the greenhouse and it is greatly dependent on the
individual.
Come on, remain in 'Position,' everyone knows who you'll find in the fire!
